Power Rangers announcement coming to Comic-Con!!!
Jason David Frank aka the green Ranger.
Lionsgate the titanic studio behind properties such as The Hunger Games and, Divergent has made a killing on movies, and their teenage demographic. It makes perfect sense for the studio to be behind the Power Rangers film reboot in development.
There’s been a long rumor floating about that screenwriter Max Landis has been recruited to work on the NEW Power Rangers project, though Landis has already (in so many words) denied any involvement with the movie by way of Twitter. Whether there’s more to the story than that, is the question at this point.
Power Rangers co-creator Haim Saban has been closed off when it has come to growing the Power Rangers franchise over the last two decades. However with a recent announcement by way of Jason David Frank aka. The Green Ranger Tommy Oliver, has led fans to believe that there will be big news of a Power Rangers announcement at Comic-Con San Diego.
This could mean that we will see a movie reboot, and possibly a remake of the iconic series. Personally being a 90’s baby, and watching the show has a certain nostalgia, but with the Power Rangers getting on in years, can they recapture our hearts as when we were 5? It is speculated that the original cast will make cameo’s but only time will tell. Comic-Con is right around the corner, and we’ll be right here to cover it with you!
